The Woodchuck Report is a new tv show on Channel 17. The show is hosted by two local Libertarians, Bonnie Scott and Ruel Wheelock.
The show runs monthly, the second Friday of the month. They have done two shows so far and a new show is comes out today, 6/13.
Scott and Wheelock explore the Libertarian view of local and national politics on the show.
The last show on 5/9/2008 had topics including State legislature ajorns, national popular vote plan, potholes, vermont gubernatorial race, Catamount Health, activists arrested at General Dynamics, War deployment, The Intervale/ fines, ground water access, 4 year terms for Governor.

Chairman, Hardy Machia was a guest on Paul Beaudry’s Comment Show on 1420 AM in St. Albans. They had a lively discussion about marijuana reform in Vermont.
Chairman, Hardy Machia was a guest on Paul Beaudry’s radio show True North on WDEV (96.1FM). They talked about free speech and particularly how the campaign finance laws and other laws affect the freedom of speech of political parties, candidates, and activists.
Volunteers from all over the country are making get out the vote phone calls for Libertarian candidates. Vermont has three candidates who can use your help making phone calls. Sign up at BallotBase.org and start making phone calls this afternoon.
There are several other candidates from around the country that you can also help with. Every little bit counts. David Atkinson won his primary by one vote, and the BallotBase calls helped push him over the top.
Hardy Machia goes on the offensive by pointing out the incumbents ads of wanting to work for lower taxes are just not true. This PDF of Can’t Afford These Taxes postcard shows how much new spending the incumbents approved last session, and highlights how the Vermont state budget has doubled in the last eight years, but what we are getting in services hasn’t.
